Glares are passive mobs found in caves and can be tamed and will follow the player.
Spawning[]
Glares spawn at light level 7 or below. They naturally spawn only above stone in caves in groups of 1. They come in five variants: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, and acacia, depending on the biome above.
Drops[]
Glares drop 1–3 on death.
Behavior[]

Glares will head to dark areas and will become grumpy when it is dark enough for monsters to spawn.
Taming[]
Glares can be tamed by placing a torch at it's feet. It will follow the player unless the player is sneaking or is 16 blocks away.
