Bedrock Edition 1.21.111, named The Copper Age, is a minor update to 1.21, released on September 30, 2025.

Blocks[]

  • Copper Golem Statue
    • A new decorative block composed of waxed and oxidized variants.
    • It turns into this state when a copper golem gets fully oxidized.
      • It reverts back to copper golem if the block has no oxidation when interacted using an axe.
    • The block's pose can be changed by interacting with it.
    • Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper golem statues undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
      • Unoxidized - Normal stage
      • Exposed
      • Weathered
      • Oxidized
    • Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
      • Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper golem statue prevents the oxidation.
  • Shelf
    • A new decorative block comes with all wood variants.
    • Can be crafted with six matching stripped logs.
      • Can produce 6 shelves.
    • Can store up to 3 item stacks.
      • Interacting them swaps the player's main hand.
    • Can display items contain it, similar to Item Frame.
  • Copper Chain
    • A new chain variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants
    • Requires copper nuggets and copper ingots to craft them
    • Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper chains undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
      • Unoxidized - Normal stage
      • Exposed
      • Weathered
      • Oxidized
    • Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
      • Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper chain prevents the oxidation.
  • Copper Bars
    • A new bars variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants
    • Requires 6 copper ingots to craft them
    • Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper bars undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
      • Unoxidized - Normal stage
      • Exposed
      • Weathered
      • Oxidized
    • Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
      • Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper bars prevents the oxidation.
  • Copper Torch
  • Copper Lantern
    • A new lantern variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants
    • Gives off green light
    • Requires 1 copper torch and copper nuggets to craft
    • Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper lanterns undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
      • Unoxidized - Normal stage
      • Exposed
      • Weathered
      • Oxidized
    • Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
      • Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper lantern prevents the oxidation.

Trivia[]

  • Originally, the update was supposed to be Bedrock Edition 1.21.110, but for some unknown reasons, 1.21.111 was released as the minor update.
