A copper torch is a torch variant that was added in The Copper Age. Like normal torches, it gives light when exposed to darkness.

A copper torch also drop as an item if:

• The attachment block is removed or destroyed.
• Water or lava flows into it.
• a piston tries to push it or moves a block into its space.

Usage[]

Like torches, copper torches can be placed on any solid blocks. It gives a light level of 14.

Unlike most copper blocks, copper torches do not oxidize.
