The Copper Age is a game drop that featured Copper Golems, Copper Chests, Shelves, copper-themed gear equipment (armor and tools), etc. It is released on September 30, 2025
During the development, the update was referred to as Fall Drop 2025, Drop 3 2025[Bedrock Edition only] and Third Drop 2025. The official name of the update was revealed in a minecraft.net article released August 28, 2025.[1]

Blocks[]
- Copper Golem Statue
- A new decorative block composed of waxed and oxidized variants.
- Can be obtained when a Copper Golem is fully oxidized.
- It reverts back to a copper golem if the statue is unoxidized when interacted with an axe.
- The block's pose can be changed by interacting with it.
- Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper golem statues undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
- Unoxidized - Normal stage
- Exposed
- Weathered
- Oxidized
- Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
- Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper golem statue prevents the oxidation.
- Right-clicking an unoxidized or waxed copper golem statue with an axe converts the statue into a copper golem.
- Activated pistons push them off as an item
- Drops as an item when mined.
- Shelf
- A new decorative block comes with all wood variants.
- Can be crafted with six matching stripped logs.
- Can produce 6 shelves.
- Can store up to 3 item stacks.
- Interacting them swaps the player's main hand.
- Can display up to 3 items and blocks that contain it, similar to Item Frame.
- Items appear to be placed on the shelf, instead of being placed in the middle.
- Copper Chest
- A new chest variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants.
- Can be crafted with a chest surrounded by 8 copper ingots.
- Spawns with a copper golem.
- Acts as its wooden counterpart.
- Placing it side by side creates a large chest.
- Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper chests undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
- Unoxidized - Normal stage
- Exposed
- Weathered
- Oxidized
- Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
- Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper chest prevents the oxidation.
- Can be interacted with by copper golems.
- Copper Chain
- A new chain variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants
- Requires copper nuggets and copper ingots to craft them
- Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper chains undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
- Unoxidized - Normal stage
- Exposed
- Weathered
- Oxidized
- Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
- Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper chain prevents the oxidation.
- Copper Bars
- A new bars variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants
- Requires 6 copper ingots to craft them
- Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper bars undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
- Unoxidized - Normal stage
- Exposed
- Weathered
- Oxidized
- Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
- Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper bar prevents the oxidation.
- Copper Torch
- Copper Lantern
- A new lantern variant composed of waxed and oxidized variants
- Gives off green light
- Requires 1 copper torch and copper nuggets to craft
- Like normal copper blocks, unwaxed copper lanterns undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
- Unoxidized - Normal stage
- Exposed
- Weathered
- Oxidized
- Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
- Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper lantern prevents the oxidation.

- Copper Armor Set
- Unlike other copper items, copper armor does not oxidize.
- Copper Nugget
- Can be obtained by smelting any copper equipment and gear.
- Can be used to craft copper ingots, copper chains, copper torches and copper lanterns.
- Copper Golem Spawn Egg
- Can be used to spawn copper golems.
- Copper Tool Set
- Unlike other copper items, copper tools do not oxidize.
Mobs[]
- Copper Golem
- A new buildable passive mob in which it undergoes oxidation, like normal copper blocks.
- Can be spawned by placing a Carved Pumpkin or Jack o'Lantern block on top of a copper block.
- Can also be spawned by using its Spawn Egg or by its
/summoncommand. - Spawns with a copper chest
- Can also be spawned by using its Spawn Egg or by its
- Only interacts with chests, trapped chests and copper chests.
- Can pick up a maximum of 16 items in a stack at a time.
- Like all copper blocks, unwaxed copper golems undergo 4 stages of oxidation:
- Unoxidized - Normal stage
- Exposed
- Weathered
- Oxidized - Statue stage
- Only lightning and axes can revert the oxidation process.
- Using a honeycomb on an unwaxed copper golem prevents the oxidation.
- When a copper golem gets fully oxidized, it will turn into a Copper Golem Statue.
- Drops 1-3 copper ingots on death.
- Prior to this update it was featured in Minecraft Live 2021's Mob Vote, but was lost to Allay.
- Mannequin[Java Edition only]
- An NPC wearing a slim Steve skin
- The NPC's skin can be customised via commands; however, the block and mob textures appear broken
- Does not have its own spawn egg
- Only summoned via commands
- Can hold items, blocks; wear armor and elytra; and have attributes and effects
- Has 20 hearts of health similar to the player

This feature is exclusive to Java Edition.
- Now allows you to customise and display debug info
