The features on this page are exclusive to Experimental Gameplay in Bedrock Edition.
These features may be properly added in a future update, but currently require enabling one or more settings in the "Drop 3 of 2026" section of the Game Settings menu.
A straw bed is an upcoming consumable bed variant that will be added in Third Drop 2026[upcoming]. It allows players to sleep in it, but doesn't set their respawn point.

Natural generation[]
Straw beds naturally generate as part of abandoned camps.
Usage[]
Unlike beds, when a player sleeps in it, it does not set the player's respawn point. Straw beds are one-time use only, meaning they will break once used.
Straw beds do not explode when attempting to use them in the Nether or at The End. They will instead break.
