Hi, CokeUnity2257. By the time you've read this, you likely already know that the topic you added to the Main Page's Talk page was removed, since that Talk page is for discussing the Main Page itself. Nonetheless, I decided I ought to answer your question: why are we still updating the Minecraft FANDOM Wiki?

We give it updates because it's a Minecraft Wiki, and Minecraft gets updated with new things. Just because a chunk of people who used to edit here moved away doesn't mean this is an "old" or "bad" wiki. It's just another website covering a well-known topic: Minecraft. Truthfully, that question is like asking the Simpsons Wiki to stop since Wikisimpsons was founded, or asking the Kirby Wiki why they've kept going after WiKirby came about. Independent wiki websites have no authority to be the only source of information about anything, and Minecraft wikis are no exception.

There's also the fact that a lot of us use FANDOM for other communities too - it's just more convenient going from one wiki to another when it's all in one larger site. I hope that at least gives you some insight on why we do things here. You're free to contribute to whatever wiki website you choose, whether it's your preferred choice or not, as long as you contribute constructively. TavianCL (talk) 05:36, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
