A Minecraft Movie: Add-on is a free Marketplace add-on that feature some items and mobs from the film. It is released by Spark Universe on February 26, 2025.

Description[]

When the Overworld and Nether clash, you’d better be equipped! Wield powerful weapons and fight vicious piglins from A Minecraft Movie in this free add-on. Equip the potato launcher, buck-chuckets, and more, then face the Piglin General, the Great Hog, and a host of other foes. Can you handle everything the Nether will throw at you? Gear up and find out!

  • A Minecraft Movie Add-on Guidebook
    • A new entity in the form of a book.
      • Punching it drops as an item.
    • Automatically obtained to a player upon activating the add-on.
    • Can flip pages, which gives a guide to the add-on.
  • Battleaxe
    • A new tiered weapon comes with wooden, stone, iron, golden, diamond, and netherite variants.
    • Can be crafted with 2 sticks in a diagonal form and 3 corresponding materials in an upper-right corner form.
      • Requires a netherite upgrade smithing template when crafting using netherite.
    • Has the same durability as axe's.
  • Spear
    • A new tiered weapon comes with wooden, stone, iron, golden, diamond, and netherite variants.
    • Has the same crafting recipe as shovel's, but in a diagonal form.
      • Requires a netherite upgrade smithing template when crafting using netherite.
    • Has 2 types of attack: charge and jab.
  • Buck-chuckets
    • Can be crafted with 3 iron ingots and 5 iron nuggets.
    • Has 3 effects on hit:
      • Stun
      • Critical hit
      • Knockback
  • Mushroom Hat
    • Can be crafted with 3 mushroom blocks in a triangle form.
    • Like any helmets, it can be worn on the head armor slot.
    • Emits glowing mushroom spores when worn.
  • Potato Launcher
    • Can be crafted with 3 iron ingots, 2 sticks, and a potato.
    • Can launch tater tots or ender pearls.
  • Tater Tot
    • Can be crafted with a potato.
      • Can produce 4 of them.
    • Like any food items, it can be eaten, restores 6 (🍗🍗🍗) hunger.
    • Can be used as a projectile in the potato launcher.
  • Malgosha's Staff
    • Dropped by Malgosha upon death.
    • Can be crafted with 3 netherite ingots in a diagonal form.
    • Deals 5♥♥♥ damage when attacking an entity.
  • Orb of Dominance
  • Staff of Dominance
    • Can be crafted with Malgosha's staff and an orb of dominance.
    • Conjures an explosion.
      • Explosion power increases when holding it for too long.

  • A Minecraft Movie Add-On Trader
    • Shares the same functionality as wandering trader.
    • Drops milk bucket, copper/netherite ingot, or lead upon death, but only drops one of these items.
  • Chef Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that wields with butcher's knife
    • Drops cooked beef/porkchop and beetroot soup when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • Drum Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that buffs with a drum.
    • Drops gold ingot, paper and sticks when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • Hammer Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that wields with a hammer.
    • Does a ground slam attack.
    • Drops gold ingot and leather pants when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • Pickaxe Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that wields with a pickaxe.
    • Has a chance of dropping a pickaxe when killed by a player or tamed wolf.

    • A new piglin variant that does a spin attack with a high knockback.
    • Drops a netherite sword, a netherite armor, and gold ingot when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • Spear Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that wields with a spear.
    • Drops gold ingot and leather tunic when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • Torch Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that wields with a torch.
    • Can set targets on fire by attacking them.
    • Has a baby variant.
    • Drops gold ingot and leather tunic when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • Warrior Piglin[note 1][note 2][note 3]
    • A new piglin variant that does a quick attack.
    • Drops gold ingot, bones, and iron sword when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
  • The Great Hog[note 2][note 3]
    • A new boss mob that attacks targets with a "volley of fireballs".
    • Drops gold ingots, blocks of gold, blocks of iron, blaze rods, ender pearls, coal, diamonds, netherite ingots, and netherite upgrades when killed by a player or a tamed wolf.
  • Malgosha[note 2]
    • A new boss mob that attack targets by conjuring a fireball from her staff.
    • Can summon bunches of any piglins for support.
    • Drops her staff and orb of dominance when killed by a player or a tamed wolf.
    • Differences: Unlike in the film:
      • Does not zombify in the overworld like other, and normal piglins does.
