Redstone lamps and sky light[]
Activated redstone lamps transmit sky light. This is easiest to see by digging a hole 3 blocks deep, jumping in, and placing a redstone lamp above you so that you are in the dark. Turn on the F3 debug screen and you can see the sky level is 0. Now use a lever to activate the lamp. The block light level will go up because the lamp is on, and the sky light level will go up because the activated lamp transmits sky light.

- Oh yeah, sorry. I misread it and tested it with a non-activated lamp...
