Dabbler[]

I like to dabble and experiment a bit. I do Java programming in real life, so trying to understand the algorithms and gameplay mechanics behind a lot of things in MC really interests me. As such, I also like to get to the bottom of things - which usually involves a combination of my programming knowledge and some in-game experimenting.

Not very creative[]

On the other hand, I'm not terribly creative or artistic. My in-game houses tend to be minimalistic, and while I do enjoy working with redstone and the devices (I love monostable circuits), my constructions rarely use up more than a stack of redstone. I'm trying to get more creative and make larger builds to keep myself entertained.

Wikis[]

I also like working on wikis to expand knowledgebases and to help people understand the mechanics behind things.

Vanilla[]

I typically only play vanilla minecraft. I generally don't use content expansion mods or texture packs (other than clear glass), although I have started to get into Feed the Beast. I might touch the occasional xray mod when I get really desperate in my singleplayer worlds.

Trivia[]

Fun fact, my first time fighting the dragon in SSP was actually Hardcore mode, and I won. I never even made a house in that world - I had my bed and chests right near my farm at the edge of a village (I didn't even bother to move into one of the houses).
