Redirections

Today I noticed a strange problem with profile on this wiki. Profile is redirecting to itself. Tested with 3 different users with 3 different browsers. External redirect tracking tool showed this redirection loop - http://i.imgur.com/a1Wgrmt.png (link to this profile MinecraftowyKloc) This may be temporal problem. We have also noticed rare cases of similar, but temporal problem with other pages (such as diff previews). I can't say when the problems started, but it may have potential connection to recent MediaWiki update.

Hello, I've found reason why it was happening. It appears that this user created a redirect page on their own profile page which created redirect loop... I feel a little bit stupid that I didn't think about it before reporting the issue. Sorry for this, I deleted the redirect page and everything is fine. piotrex43 (Dyskusja) 15:29, 17 wrz 2016 (UTC)

I've just had a thought, would it be a wise idea to prevent users from editing UserProfile namespace with abuse filter? There is no reason to edit it anyway and (I think) it won't make problems with profile editing. piotrex43 (Dyskusja) 17:10, 17 wrz 2016 (UTC)
