==Village structures==
Village buildings and farms never generate completely "floating". However, if the structure generates partly on an overhang, water, etc., a platform of blocks will generates beneath the building in a square{{only|java|short=1}} or circular{{only|bedrock|short=1}} shape. The platform is made out of natural blocks such as grass, sand, sandstone, dirt, stone, and gravel.
 
[[:en:Structure_block|Structure block]]s can be used to manually load pieces of the village from the {{cd|/data/structures/village}} folder in [[:en:Minecraft.jar|minecraft.jar]]. To do so, set a structure block to Load mode, enter {{cd|village/<''folder''>/<''structure_name''>}}, and press LOAD. For example, {{cd|village/plains/houses/plains_small_house_5}}
 
Snowy taiga villages don't have their own architecture, but uses the same buildings as taiga village, although any full block with sky view will be covered by top snow and water replaced by ice.
 
Villager skins are based on the biome where they spawn, rather than the village's type. For example, if some plains village houses generate in a neighboring swamp biome, the villagers spawned there will have the swamp skin variant instead of plains.

Village structures

Village buildings and farms never generate completely "floating". However, if the structure generates partly on an overhang, water, etc., a platform of blocks will generates beneath the building in a squareSzablon:Only or circularSzablon:Only shape. The platform is made out of natural blocks such as grass, sand, sandstone, dirt, stone, and gravel.

Structure blocks can be used to manually load pieces of the village from the Szablon:Cd folder in minecraft.jar. To do so, set a structure block to Load mode, enter Szablon:Cd, and press LOAD. For example, Szablon:Cd

Snowy taiga villages don't have their own architecture, but uses the same buildings as taiga village, although any full block with sky view will be covered by top snow and water replaced by ice.

Villager skins are based on the biome where they spawn, rather than the village's type. For example, if some plains village houses generate in a neighboring swamp biome, the villagers spawned there will have the swamp skin variant instead of plains.
