The Raid Omen is a status effect that replaces the Bad Omen effect when a player enters a village.
Causes[]
| Cause | Potency | Length | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| A player with Bad Omen entering a village | I | 0:30 | See raid for the exact definitions of village. |
Effect[]
The effect lasts 30 seconds. If a player didn't remove it in time, it will trigger a raid. However, this rule isn't always absolute. Sometimes, the timer starts as soon as the player reaches the village's borders.
Animation[]
The Bedrock Edition animation for the Raid Omen effect activating.
In Bedrock Edition, when a player receives the effect, the effect's icon appears on the screen in a short animation, similar to the animation that plays when a totem of undying activates.
Immune mobs[]
- Withers, ender dragons and illagers are immune to Raid Omen.
- All mobs except for the player are unaffected by Raid Omen.
Sounds[]
Java Edition: Template:SoundTable
Bedrock Edition: Template:SoundTable
