1.0.0		Beta 1.9 Prerelease 2			Added textures for all the non-instant effects added in this version.
1.4.2		12w34a			Added the wither effect icon.
1.6.1		13w23b			Added this icon, used by Health Boost and from 13w24b onwards also Absorption.
1.9		15w31a			Added the levitation and glowing icons.
		15w44b			Added the luck and bad luck icons.
		15w49a			Health boost and absorption have been given unique textures.
1.13		18w14a			Added slow falling.
		18w15a			Added conduit power.
		18w19a			Added dolpin's grace.
1.14		18w43a			The vast majority of effect icons have been retextured.
					Slow Falling now uses the Dolphin's Grace texture, conduit power uses a solid gray texture, and dolphin's grace is completely transparent.
		18w43b			Removed dark backgrounds from several effects.
					The three effects mentioned above now point to the correct textures.
		18w47a			Added bad omen.
		19w08a			Updated several effect textures during the inventory.png split.
		19w13a			Added hero of the village.
1.15		19w41a			Added textures of instant damage, instant health and saturation.
1.19		Deep Dark Experimental Snapshot 1			Added the darkness icon.

Placeholder textures[]

1.0.0		Beta 1.9 Prerelease 2			inventory.png now has seven identical placeholder markers for future effect textures.
1.9		15w49a			All seven placeholder textures have now been exhausted by added effect icons.
1.13		18w14a			Added eleven identical placeholder textures to inventory.png as places for potential future effect icons.
1.14		18w43a			All placeholder effect textures were removed in this version, despite not being used up. They still exist in Programmer Art and in 18w47a one was used by Bad Omen when Programmer Art was active.
		19w08a			With the splitting of effect textures, placeholder effect squares are completely absent[verify] from both default resource packs.
