Description

Mockup of a potential inventory screen.. Do we want the game to go in this direction? Is it too complicated? Is it really awesome?

The actual slots in there were just copied from another game of mine that I never finished (http://www.mojang.com/notch/chambered/). I’ll change those to fit Minecraft.

Equipment would be crafted ingame, and would probably be limited to like four different items of each category, like leather armor, chainmail, plate and.. er.. lava. Or something.

I’m not entirely sure yet how this would fit in with crafting. I’d rather not have crafting take place in the inventory view, as then you’d spend too much time in there. It should just be for checking stats, checking what your character looks like, and modifying your kit.
