Version history[]
The wolves section of the update in 1.4 is true. It has happened to multiple friends of mine as well as myself. (I wrote the 'false information' if you call it, even though it was true).
Sometimes, when in a sitting position, not only will they not be able to stand up but they also will lose their collar, but still have the tamed face. They also rarely duplicate.
Hope you understand. --Rocĸetor talk 09:37, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- This "bug" is caused by the fact that the map has not been saved during the crash. This is not a minecraft bug, it is just a side-effect of the client crash bug. And please, please, please note that the "false information" was directed to a different addition. Anyway, the Version History and Known Bugs pages would be FILLED with crap of side-glitches resulting from a client crash, and it is also common sence, so it needs not be on any page. Please dont take this, or my previous actions personally, I'd appreciate if you would not try to add it back onto the Version History or Known Bugs pages. It just clutters it up with info not meant to be there. UGoBoom 21:27, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Deletion of Info[]
Hi UGoBoom, what happened to the info that you deleted from this? Version history#Beta 1.5 I hope you made sure to move it to the bugs page and the relevant history sections of the mentioned pages. Did you? :/ - Asterick6 06:52, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- I deleted some of them because they were god-awful long, and detracted from the readability of the page. Like:
When a Powered Rail is placed next to a block and redstone is placed both on top of the block and leading away from the block to a redstone torch on the ground, and then the redstone on top of the block, the redstone leading away from the block, and the redstone torch on the ground are removed (in that order), the Powered Rail will remain powered without any power source.
- Sometimes while ⇧ Shift+clicking objects into chests, the ⇧ Shift key always acts held down. In this case, you are not allowed to pick up any items in your inventory. Once you're in a chest, clicking an item in your inventory will quick-drag the item into the chest, even if your ⇧ Shift key is not held down. Restarting Minecraft will fix this problem.
Others were bugs that were not new, like:
- Saplings will refuse to grow into trees if any part of the tree's leaves would be in a block that is already occupied with anything except leaves. This results in places where planted saplings will never grow, when they used to be able to.
- If you are killed while having the chest GUI open and you transfer items from the chest to your inventory after you are killed, those items will be lost.
- Dropped blocks are not being ejected upwards. This one was fake.
- Sometimes when reeling in a fish, the fish will not be collected and will fly over the top of you.
I did add some to the bugs list provided they are still broken and they were not already added. UGoBoom 22:42, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- Ok that's good then, cause I think it's bad if info gets deleted/disappears just cause the game changes as it updates. When new info is released, the old info should be archived in the History section of the page or the bug lists in this case. This should be the policy here. - Asterick6 02:38, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
