Removing info[]

In one of your recent edits to Tutorials/Defeating_the_ender_dragon, you removed content or templates from a page without a valid explanation. In the future, make sure to leave a valid edit summary when removing content, and do not remove any content if it's useful to the page. Please make use of the MCWiki sandbox or your own sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.Wikipedia-logo psl85 (talkcontribs) 19:17, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for continuing to remove content; your IP address was previously blocked for doing the same thing. If you keep doing this without explanation, you will be blocked again for increasingly long amounts of time. -- Orthotopetalk 19:59, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Recent edits and talk pages[]

I notice that in your most recent edits, you're much less prone to reverting other people's attempts to improve an article. You also seem to be following the style guide faithfully. I'm very glad you're more willing to cooperate and follow the rules now, because as I told you elsewhere I think you're a good contributor.

I'd still like to encourage you to use talk pages (both user and article talk pages) to resolve disagreements, especially if you get into an edit war (a situation where two or more editors repeatedly revert one another's edits). Edit summaries are one way to explain a change, but they aren't intended to substitute for the dialog that can happen on a talk page. In particular, by the time three or four reversions have happened over a difference of opinion, the matter should be taken to a talk page and no more reverting should be done until the editors have resolved their conflict. If you're unfamiliar with how to use talk pages, see gphelp:Talk pages.

If you feel like responding to this, or if you have any questions, I'd welcome you doing so. You can reply here, or if you prefer you can talk to me on my talk page (just click the Add Topic button at the top). Welcome back to the wiki, and I hope you'll continue working with us for a long time to come! – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 17:02, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

Please try to make your edits denser[]

Today on Tutorials/Defeating the ender dragon you submitted a total of 33 edits to make only 10 changes to the article, and this is typical of the way you edit. Doing this produces a lot of unnecessary entries in the edit history, making it harder for other editors to use, and also wastes wiki resources. If you can, please try to make your edits denser by previewing them first and submitting them only when you feel you've done everything you wanted to. Depending on what's available on your screen, you can use the "Preview" tab at the top of the edit form, or the "Show Preview" button at the bottom. Thanks for helping! – Auldrick (talk · contribs) 20:45, 3 November 2018 (UTC)

Alternate names[]

Please review the wiki style guide, particularly the section on keeping articles up to date. Many of your recent edits have added old names for features to articles, which violates the style guide; outdated names should only be mentioned in history sections. Continuing to make edits which violate guidelines may be considered disruptive editing, and will be dealt with accordingly. -- Orthotopetalk 00:16, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Revert on Tutorials/Defeating the ender dragon[]

I am not sure why you reverted my edit, as I added a significant amount of information. Generally, tutorials are supposed to tell readers how to accomplish a task; content that just tells about a feature belongs on the page corresponding to the feature, not in a tutorial. If a tutorial does contain facts, it should only be to explain why a method works, or to convey a similar message. The BlobsPaper JE2 BE2 02:17, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
