Redstone[]

Hi Petrus,

I removed your contributions to the Redstone article and, as your edits were in good faith, I felt that merited telling you why.

First, mods shouldn't be discussed in main articles. All discussion of mods should go only in mod articles, not the main articles. The wiki documents vanilla Minecraft.

The rest of that paragraph seemed to be talking about redstone being considered a power source in early Minecraft. If it was, that seems like something that belongs in Trivia at best. The rest of the article certainly doesn't describe redstone dust as a power source, only as a method of power transmission. Going on to talk about "logic programming" seems beyond the scope of the article, other than to mention the use of redstone dust in redstone circuits as was already done at the beginning of the section.

Further down you argued that the obsidian transmutation shouldn't be considered "infinite" because lava is more common than redstone dust. This, however, is incorrect -- redstone is a renewable resource due to witch drops and villager trading, while lava is not renewable. If there is anything that could be considered infinite in Minecraft, it is something you can create a farm to produce an endless stream of, as you can with redstone.
