Stripped Bark[]

Hi, on Special:Diff/1225111, are you totally sure Stripped Bark was added in experimental gameplay? Or was it only Stripped Wood? Because that's all I see in Win 10 and in the Android beta, right now. – Sealbudsman talk | contribs 22:45, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Are you actually FVDisco?[]

I saw that FVDisco is quitted as a YouTuber few years ago. But wait! Your username is similar to that! Are you actually FVDisco? HaydenBobMutthew Talk 14:10, 29 June 2018 (UTC)

I am not. FVbico (talk) 15:03, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
Ok, but is you name a reference of him? HaydenBobMutthew Talk 03:45, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
That’s also a no. FVbico (talk) 06:33, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

Flattening for Bedrock[]

I'm just curious, why are you working on that page? It seems like a lot of work. Do they actually plan to have the flattening on Bedrock too? --185.36.129.43 09:52, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

I had the same question as you. But apparently, he made the flattening page to disseminate the information to the developers. So I would say that Bedrock Edition is getting the flattening as well. – ItsPlantseed|⟩ 10:27, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Yes, eventually bedrock gets “flattened” as well, as as ItsPlanted already said, I share the page with the developers directly.
An example is how the display names will soon-ish follow the java names, then all they’ll need to do is take a look at that names section and they have all the things that changed nicely listed already.
Of course for bedrock the flattening won’t just happen in one snap, especially since there’s no block states yet, anywhere; but they’ll be able to take it one step at a time and use the page as reference every time. FVbico (talk) 12:25, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

What happened on Discord and Mojira?[]

Hey FVb, I see you've left the server and lost your status on the mojira platform. I cannot contact you on Discord because you disabled all messages and requests, so I'm posting it here. Did you actually leave us? Why? We need you – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 15:50, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

Support I also support you! HaydenBobMutthew Talk 15:52, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

I quit mojira, the reason I will not share.
I did not just leave the minecraftwiki server, but every single discord server, as I know they (at least some of them) have other mojira mods/helpers, and I do not intent to continue the argument.
Before you ask, I have no regrets of my actions. FVbico 20:33, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
Hey, some of us on the wiki Discord server were watching the situation unfold. Honestly, we were worried about your well being, but I'm glad to hear you are okey. You are always welcome on the server, I hardly believe anyone there would bother you about the situation that happened outside of Minecraft Wiki. We know you don't want to talk about it and it's ok. Anyway, thanks for responding, have a nice day! Frisk (Talk page) 21:05, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
“were watching the situation unfold. ” I doubt that that was the case, since the situation only became publically visible in the end (my unsetting reporter on all my tickets), so unless somebody from mojira (eg violine) was sharing the situation, you couldn’t see it unfold.
Nobody shared the situation. All I meant was that we saw in the logs you leaving and then your update on the wiki regarding Mojra status ^^ Obviously you see it in much longer spectrum of time. Sorry for confusion. Frisk (Talk page) 21:31, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

Patroller right[]

Hi! Dinoguy1000 has put you in the patroller user group, which allows you to mark other edits as patrolled and rollback edits. Please take a look at MCW:Patrollers for an explanation of the role, as well as a quick guide. Here's a brief overview of both of the main permissions:

  • Marking edits as patrolled. This basically tells other patrollers and administrators that the edit has been reviewed and any problems both content-wise and formatting-wise, have been fixed - e.g., open HTML tags or incorrect information. Since you're a new patroller, if you're unsure about something, it's better to leave it to a more experienced patroller or administrator. Additionally, you can take a look at Special:Log/patrol, to get an idea of when other patrollers mark edits as patrolled.
  • Rolling back edits. Clicking "rollback" will instantly rollback all of the last contributions to the page by the user without leaving an edit summary, while clicking the pencil button will allow for a custom edit summary. The most important thing here, is if there's any chance that the user was trying to be helpful to the wiki or the information might be correct but you haven't tested it, make sure to leave an explanatory edit summary.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know! Additionally, if you don't want this user right, feel free to ask for it to be removed here, and I can ping Dinoguy. Reverted edits on Function[]

You reverted the edits I made on Function (here), but you never explained why in the edit summary. I would like to know what I did wrong so that I can, for future reference, not make the same mistake again.

GunslingerN7, Technology and Gaming Freelancer (Talk) 11:01, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry, I clicked the wrong reverting button and couldn't enter why.
The reason I reverted it was because what you mentioned is specific to data packs, not functions. The page already says you need to make a data pack in order to make functions, so the making data pack steps need to be read anyway. FVbico (talk) 11:04, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
Okay. Thank you. :) GunslingerN7, Technology and Gaming Freelancer (Talk) 11:05, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Edit war[]

You are engaging in an edit war with User:Matteo Games on Planned versions. You have reverted 3 times, which could get you blocked. I agree with your revert and have been trying to get there before you so you don't get blocked when he does, but you're too quick. [edited to correct wikilinks]]]Auldrick (talk · contribs) 17:06, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

The wiki moderators were watching, so me getting blocked had basically a 0% chance of happening.
Don't worry, I don't go into edit wars without the wiki mods knowing about it. :P FVbico (talk) 17:11, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
AttemptToCallNil blocked the user by now for a week, so the situation has ended. – Jack McKalling [ Talk Contrib ] 17:22, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

Keeping technical game data pages up to date is an important task, and we really appreciate you doing this. Your actions on the wiki Discord server are also helpful. Keep it up! --AttemptToCallNil (report bug, view backtrace) 11:14, 1 October 2018 (UTC)

Advancements - Weird formatting[]

Looked into this a little and it appears to be due to Template:Advancements not Template:Tooltip.

What happens is that the template applies rowspan=2 to the <td>s of that element which misalign things

The template resolves this by adding <tr class="mw-empty-elt"></tr>, but this now has style display: none; for some reason. And that breaks it.

If you press any of the sorting headers it changes to rowspan=1 and looks ok.

BTW. Pretty sure Template:Achievements will have same issue. - Oozebull (talk) 12:34, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

Thanks, I managed to fix it with a very lucky edit. :D FVbico (talk) 14:22, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

... what? FVbico (talk) 19:25, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
Technically, if we were to follow the guidelines precisely, Minecraftfixer would actually be allowed to remove those comments per MCW:TALK: "one's own talk is also exempt from rule 6," but many users, including multiple administrators, have added back comments that were removed in accordance with that guideline many times, so I don't think any of us are necessarily following that anymore.-- Madminecrafter12Orange Glazed Terracotta JE2 BE2Talk to meLight Blue Glazed Terracotta JE1 BE1 19:28, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
And the guideline itself is under question, with a proposal to remove it being discussed. --AttemptToCallNil (report bug, view backtrace) 19:59, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
