smwforever45 (with no capital letter, Minecraft Wiki added that for some reason even though he didn't specify it) is an experienced German Minecraft player, who got pretty popular in the internet with his same-named YouTube channel.
When and how he got to know Minecraft[]
smwforever45 first heard of Minecraft in school. His friends in his class were talking about the game all the time, and part of them were playing it since the late Alpha phase.
He then first saw the game in action when he visited one of his friends - at that time Minecraft was already in the early Beta phase, somewhere around 1.1 to 1.2. He thought the game was pretty boring, but he was afraid he would also get addicted to the game if he ever started playing it, so he did everything to avoid it. Mid of March 2011, when Beta 1.3 was the latest version, he downloaded the game, but didn't start it yet. In July 2011, shortly after the Beta 1.7.3 was released, he ran the game nevertheless because he was bored and wanted to try something new. And then his prediction came true - he got addicted to the game as soon as he started it for the first time.
His first match[]
smwforever45's very first match - which was on Normal difficulty - was a pretty tough match, as he didn't know how to start the game correctly and unluckily also spawned on a little sandy island in the bay of a mainland. He had to swim to that mainland to get some wood, and because he still was a noob back then, he didn't build his house on that mainland, but on the little sandy island where he spawned - he saw monsters on the mainland in the first two nights and thought he would be safe on the little sandy island.
In the third night though, when he still didn't make a sword to fight monsters and only made a very little hut (which at least was made of wooden planks, not of dirt :3) with a crafting table and without a door, he came back from collecting wood and met some skeletons and zombies. He didn't know yet how to fight them correctly, so he used his fists to first fight the zombies, then the skeletons. But his health dropped rapidly, and before he could even kill the first zombie, he was dead. After that experience, he immediately left the world, deleted it and set the difficulty to Peaceful.
Aftermath[]
smwforever45 kept playing on Peaceful difficulty for a long time after that and only tried other difficulties as a side activity.
He created a world specifically for the Easy difficulty later in August - which he abused pretty soon though when he found out about Single Player Commands.
Much later, in January 2012, he created another world where he's playing on Easy - but unlike the first one, he used it regularly, and only used SPC to turn off rainfall or for help against big swarms of Zombie Pigmen.
By now, he does not use SPC at all in regular worlds. He has almost no trouble with monsters or anything else anymore, he knows nearly all crafting recipes by heart and he learned a lot from the mistakes he made.
His main hobby in Minecraft[]
Besides playing normally, smwforever45 also has a certain hobby in Minecraft. The world he created immediately after the very first match nowadays is a wool paradise.
He's a huge fan of Yoshi - a dinosaur (or dragon, whichever you like more) from Nintendo -, which is why he started building Yoshi statues end of August 2011. He either makes them from scratch, rebuilds statues he finds in the internet, or uses a tool called Woolify to convert pictures from his computer to wool structures. He has finished six of them as of now.
