  2. The enchanted glint does not appear on items that have the enchanted glint when displayed by the block.

Trivia[]

  • When the item property displays a block, its model appears rotated and its bottom face is missing.
    • The only block that is not affected by this is the How did we get here? block, but only when the item property is set to 0.
  • Colored blocks like the grass block and leaves are not colored when displayed by the block.
  • Translucent blocks are opaque when displayed by the block.
  • Some block entities don't display by the block, such as chests, beds...
  • The enchanted glint does not appear on items that have the enchanted glint when displayed by the block.
    • Because of that, enchanted golden apple when displayed by the block looks like normal golden apple.
