The ominous trial key is an ominous variant of a trial key. It is mainly used to unlock ominous vault. given from ominous trial spawners.
Obtaining[]
Ominous trial keys can only be obtained from ominous trial spawners (trial spawners affected by the Trial Omen effect). However, they are uncommonly rare to obtain.
Usage[]
The ominous trial key is used in the trial chambers, to open ominous vaults, which give better and valuable loot than normal trial vaults. Using one on any ominous vault will result in the key being removed from the player's inventory. Only one ominous trial key is required per vault. Once it is opened and loot dispensed, it cannot regain loot or take more ominous trial keys.
Appearance[]
An ominous trial key looks like a normal trial key, except with slight differences, such as a three-headed rocky skull for the key head and a long, oxidised copper shaft below it.
