Sulfur Spike - minecraft.fandom.com
A sulfur spike is an upcoming pointy block that will be added in Chaos Cubed[upcoming]. Like pointed dripstone, it creates both stalactites and stalagmites and naturally generates in sulfur caves.

- ↑ Times are for unenchanted tools as wielded by players with no status effects, measured in seconds. For more information, see Breaking § Speed.
Sulfur spikes also break instantly with a thrown trident.
Natural generation[]
Sulfur spikes naturally generate in sulfur caves.
Trading[]
Wandering traders may sell 2 sulfur spikes for an emerald.
Usage[]
Like pointed dripstones, sulfur spikes can be found in 2 forms: stalactites and stalagmites. Stalactites are created when placed on above the ceiling, while stalagmites are created when placed on the ground.
When a player dies by a fallen stalactite, the death message will display as "<player> was skewered by a falling stalactite". When dying by falling to stalagmite, the standard fall damage is used instead of the death message "<player> was impaled on a stalagmite"
