Bedrock Edition 26.0 is a minor update for Bedrock Edition, released on February 10, 2026. It contains experimental features for First Drop 2026, and the first version to use the new YY.MH version format.

• Horse Armor, Nautilus Armor, and Wolf Armor
  • Now displays their toughness, armor, and knockback resistance values if they are greater than 0.
• Diamond Horse Armor and Diamond Nautilus Armor
  • Now has a toughness value of 2.
• Netherite Horse Armor and Netherite Nautilus Armor
  • Now has a toughness value of 3.
• Spawn Eggs
  • Now always spawn baby mobs when using on the same mob, aligning with Java Edition.
• Spears
  • Now rotates when charging in first and third person views.
  • No longer picked up by the following mobs:
    • Drowned
    • Skeleton
    • Stray
    • Bogged
    • Parched
• Name Tags
  • Can now be crafted with any nugget and a paper.
  • Only available under "Drop 1 of 2026" experimental toggle.

Mobs[]

• Donkey, Horses and Mules
  • No longer gradually grows when they age.
• Squid and Glow Squid
  • Baby ones no longer drop items when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
• Husks, Zombies, Drowneds, and Zombie Villagers
  • Now drop items when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
• Nautilus and Zombie Nautilus
  • Now has swim sounds.
  • Now has an alternative ambient, hurt, and dying sounds when on land.
• Polar Bears
  • Baby ones now attack foxes.
  • Baby ones no longer hostile towards player on any difficulty level.
• Vindicator
  • Now attacks non-illager mobs correctly when applied with a "Johnny" name tag.
• Camel Husk, Zombie Horse, and Skeleton Horse
  • No longer panic when hit.
  • Baby zombie horses no longer be ridden or equipped with saddle and horse armor.
• Baby mobs
  • The following baby mobs have remodeled the texture:
    • Cat
    • Chicken
    • Cow
    • Mooshroom
    • Ocelot
    • Pig
    • Rabbit
    • Sheep
    • Wolf
  • Baby wolves, cats, and pigs now has a new sound.
  • Armor and saddle on baby wolves and pigs respectively will no longer render.
  • Can pause or resume aging by feeding them with golden dandelion‌^{[upcoming: Drop 2026]}.
  • Only available under "Drop 1 of 2026" experimental toggle.
• Rabbit
  • Changed the texture.
  • Now has an idle animation.
