May 2021[]

Please refrain from engaging in edit warring, as you have at Bedrock Edition 1.16.230. Regarding the edits in question:

  1. The information removed was duplicate information that had already been added to the page beforehand.
  2. Regarding the release date, while it is likely that 1.16.230 will end up releasing before 1.17.0, setting the release date to "2021" is currently speculation, which is not allowed on the wiki, per the wiki rules.

oh i did not think that was speculation but if the rules say so then fine, also i would perfer if you would use the enhanced talk page instead of this one because this one is less organized and harder to use.Andexter (talk) 19:04, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
You did this again in Bedrock Edition 1.17.10. Stop. 1.16.230 was never delayed so it never was released (in 2021). If it was kept there, it would of been false info. It was not released. We never know, 1.17.10 may be cancelled/merged. Humiebeetalk contribs 21:38, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

Ice[]

Regarding your edit to ice, keep in mind that main space articles aren't tutorials. They are intended to convey information about a topic, and not to provide instructions about how to do something like build a structure. We also avoid the second-person pronoun "you". That's why I had to revert your contribution. See MCW:Style guide for more information. Amatulic (talk) 00:57, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

well then should I just put that it ice can be used to make basalt without the instructions on how? Andexter (talk) 15:47, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
That would be OK, but in this case it would also be incorrect because this is a property of blue ice specifically (which has its own article) and not simply ice. The blue ice and basalt articles already say that blue ice adjacent to a space that lava flows into creates basalt.
If you can do this with normal ice, then you can add a statement to the ice article, but as far as I know it works only for blue ice. Amatulic (talk) 20:02, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

We'd like to hear your thoughts[]

Hey there! If you haven't heard, we've decided to move away from Fandom to a new, independent wiki. I noticed you've contributed quite a bit, so I'd really appreciate your input on our skin designs for the new wiki, whether you think we should enable dark or light mode by default, and if you have any other feedback. You can leave your feedback on this page. I hope you can join us over there! - Harristic (talk) 15:06, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
