The drip stone caves biome is an underground biome filled with pointed drip stone and drip stone blocks.

Description[]

A drip stone cluster. A drip stone cluster.

A drip stone cluster.

On the surface, this biome is indistinguishable from a plains biome, except from cold looking grass‌[Bedrock Edition only].

Underground, drip stone caves generate as a cave biome but with drip stone blocks and pointed drip stone both hanging as stalactites and growing from the ground as stalagmites. They mostly appear like regular caves, except with patches of drip stone blocks and pointed drip stone. Large drip stone clusters structures generate occasionally inside ravines.

Drip stone caves cannot generate naturally in normal worlds, but can be generated with a buffet or custom world type[Java Edition only]. In Bedrock Edition, it generates randomly underground.
