Minecraft Live - March 2026 was an event that took place on March 21, 2026. It featured more information, including the release date about Tiny Takeover, special guests, and some upcoming contents.

Summary[]

The stream begins with an introduction, panning the animation, starting with the village flying past several characters including Agnes' skin and skins resembling Jeb and the villagers, before moving on to several other locations, such as bridge in the Nether, a portal to cherry grove with a pagoda, an underground where Steve gets blown up by a creeper, a shipwreck where Noor and Zuri travels to meet up with the nautiluses, and a mangrove swamp where the logo appears right after. The show then cuts to several areas of Mojang Studios, with various new baby mobs superimposed over the footage. Jeb introduces himself and welcomes the viewers into the show, remarks the community's interest in the first drop of 2026. He also tease for the second drop of 2026 that brings an entirely new mechanic, and thanking the players for their non-stop, continued dedication to the game. It then moves on to the first announcement, in-game social parties.

Parties[]

Laura Taranto explains how multiplayer works, as multiple players hang out with each other. They then introduce parties, a new feature where players can create and join parties.

Tiny Takeover[]

Agnes Larsson recaps the new features of Tiny Takeover: Craftable name tags, baby mob and rabbit remodels, and golden dandelions. She then announces that it will be released on March 24.

Jasper Boerstra makes an appearance, saying the name of a game drop. Felix and Sarah starts listing off the mobs they include on the update, ending with a baby villager standing on the orange terracotta. It cuts to Sandra Karlsson, who is on a field duty recording real-life animals. She recounts her experiences with a cow whisperer, and the time she got bitten by pigs. Jasper then explains the topic about golden dandelion, a new dandelion flower variant that can be crafted with a dandelion surrounded by 8 gold nuggets and keeps the baby mobs forever young. It then transitions to the cinematic trailer.

Chaos Cubed[]

Agnes returns to discuss the next game drop. She hints the viewers with a pan through desert to a cave, then reveals the newest underground biome addition: the sulfur caves.

Daniel Jansson talks about the unique color palette of sulfur and cinnabar block sets. Sulfur blocks is a group of sickly yellowish-colored blocks, while cinnabar blocks is a group of reddish-hue colored blocks. Both blocks can be crafted into slabs, stairs, walls, polished, bricks, and chiseled variants. The biome, later inspired by a hot spring, through a potent sulfur block boiling water. The potent sulfur block gives players and mobs nausea when they get too close to or enter the sulfur pool, one of the features of the sulfur cave. They then discuss about sulfur cubes, a new passive slime-like mob that absorbs blocks, and can be treated as "bouncy cubes". Another feature of the sulfur cube is that when a large size dies, it splits into two, which then grow back to a larger size, unlike slimes and magma cubes.

The game drop was later revealed to be called "Chaos Cubed".

Minecraft Dungeons II[]

Mojang announced that Minecraft Dungeons II, a new RPG dungeon crawler serving a sequel to Minecraft Dungeons, is scheduled for Fall 2026 release.

The Deep Dig[]

An aftershow where Jens, Vu, Agnes, and several content creators preview the Chaos Cubed game drop and the new features of Tiny Takeover.
