Split mob page from main game as its own article

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
The result was to make a separate mob page for Minecraft Dungeons mobs on its own wiki. James Haydon (talk) 18:05, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

Most mob in dungeons that already have article in main game link to it, some behave similar, but not identicaly same. Eg: zombie and skeleton not burn in sunlight, their armor are different (which look like reinforced mail), witch throw potion that leave area effect cloud, evoker and enderman considered as mini bosses, cave spider has different texture, etc. Creating Its own article may help more specific information. But I bassically neutral about this, so if the dungeons mob information keep in main article (not creating their dungeons page) It just require dungeons cleanup for spawning, behavior (and infobox maybe) like mooshroom page. ImakerB (talk) 12:44, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

I agree every mob also in the base game should also have its own page in this namespace. They're too different to justify redirecting to the main article, especially as we've resolved to keep Dungeons-specific content out of the mainspace. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 23:54, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
I second this. Dungeons mobs act very different from vanilla mobs. If a Jungle Zombie linked to a normal Zombie page, that'd just be odd. Oreli (talk) 01:21, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
Just gonna say we can probably go ahead with this. No reason not to. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 19:46, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

Rename Sub Bosses to Mini Bosses

The following is a closed discussion of a proposed change. Please do not modify it. Any editors wishing to make further comments should start a new topic.

The result of the discussion was Sub-Bosses was changed to Mini-Bosses. James Haydon (talk) 18:06, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

This is just a minor issue, but “mini bosses” is just easier to say than “sub bosses”. If there is no difference in meaning, it is just easier to say mini bosses. Wisercjay (talk)

Support unless a term is used in-game other than mini boss, in which case I'd support using whatever that term is. -PancakeIdentity (talk) 09:15, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
I agree with this. Minibosses is already a popular term for lesser bosses. Oreli (talk) 16:00, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Actually they are called « powerful mobs » by the Luxury Merchant. 185.40.61.174 14:44, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
Yea but they are still minibosses nonetheless, but the term powerful mobs would make more sense for enchanted mobs. James Haydon (talk) 23:31, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

Split the Illagers and the Familiar enemies category

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Looking at the current mob page, Illagers are kept in the hostile mobs section, but on their own line. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

I suggest splitting the enemies into the Illagers and the familiar category. Since they're technically two different types of mobs, and it also makes navigation easier. Familiar category refers to mobs that are in the base game of Minecraft.--skylord_wars (talk) 11:49, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

Sub Endcity and Netherwart Forest

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Both of these are location names, and one of them is unused, while the other is a subdungeon, therefore they are not DLC names. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Does anyone have anymore info about these two leaked DLCs? And if so, could you add it here as we don't know much about them. Thanks Suchaepicboi (talk) 22:37, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

The most info we have so far is that there are nether portal like structures in the game, specifically at the camp and at the obsidian pinnacle. Another thing is that both of the DLC's are now complete and Mincraft live is coming in October so there could very well be a chance that a Minecraft Dungeons DLC could be announced, but it will be unknown if it will take place in the nether or end. James Haydon (talk) 23:36, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
They just got officially announced at Minecraft Live 2020, so it was real this whole time. James Haydon (talk) 18:59, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
Here I have proof of them in game files DLCLeaks James Haydon (talk) 06:00, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Armored Mossy Skeleton, Armored Jungle Zombie, Jungle Zombie Brute and Jack O Lantern Trap proof

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
All of these are speculation mobs except for the Jack O' Lantern Trap, which was found in the game files as an unused mob. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

I have seen people kept adding these mobs on jungle awakens mob page but is there any official proof that they exist, i have not found one of these mobs in game yet. Like official images, on official websites or screenshots. Sincereley James Haydon (talk) 04:00, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

They don't exist. They are mainly rumors or people trying to get popular by inventing a fake mob and having people trying to spot one. It's happened before. Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens (talk) 10:30, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
Ok thanks, I was just wondering why were they so presistent and kept readding them. James Haydon (talk) 01:37, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
Also about the Jack O' Lantern trap, i have been recently hearing that it actually exists in the code and is not implemented, tho there is differing evidence. James Haydon (talk) 22:06, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
Please check if the mob is true for the next time. I was sad that everyone was calling me a liar. 93.108.140.189 (talk) 16:21, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
The Jack o' Lantern is true though, even one of the admins agreed. James Haydon (talk) 16:51, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

Ravager?

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
The Ravager has been confirmed to be in the Howling Peaks DLC. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

We have heard that there's like a cool Ravager Mini Boss and its only on Apocalypse mode. We are still in Adventure mode, but does the Ravager exist in Minecraft: Dungeons? We heard it's only in Creeper Woods.

If it does exist, can someone create a page with that information? Book and Brook (talk) 10:25, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

This page have ruined by some speculation, rumor, and theory.
The page was include zombified piglin without piglin brute, but now they are listed there, not sure if it available as unused feature.
Its hard to distinguish between mob leaked from file that become unused and rumored mob.
If you have a proof that ravager are available in the game, the page should include sound and model, as sound and texture can somewhat different than in the base game, also screenshot from the game may help.
I however, never see any ravager in creeper Woods, or other level. Mob that not in the game shouldn't have a page unless confirmed to be added with reference or went unused in game file. ImakerB (talk) 11:33, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
Good news, the Ravager is actually going to be in Minecraft Dungeons in the new Howling Peaks DLC update. James Haydon (talk) 03:18, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Is This Supposed to Happen?

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Speculative discussion. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

The Mobs in Apocalypse mode are pretty hard (we just started today!) but we have managed to defeat a lot of them. But for some reason, Book keeps dying and we realized that the game depletes 1 Health Point per every few seconds. Is this supposed to happen? BTW we found another Easter Egg hinting towards a Nether DLC: When you select Apocalypse mode, it plays a Ghast Sound and Ghasts aren't in Dungeons yet. Book and Brook (talk) 13:03, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

If there actually is an upcoming DLC that's Nether themed, then that would be really cool as we can finally use that Nether portal in the camp. James Haydon (talk) 10:51, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
Well it just got namedropped and confirmed in Minecraft Live. James Haydon (talk) 23:28, 3 October 2020 (UTC)

Bees?

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Bess are now confrimed mobs, but they are summoned from a beehive, not honey or "pollenated flowers". James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Does anyone got information about bees in minecraft dungeons? I never heard about a bee in the winter, if they are confirmed to be added in the Creeping Winter DLC, can someone create a page about this mob?

Ok bees will be coming to minecraft dungeons as of the screenshot from twitter but they are more like a summon mob instead of a mob that spawns on the creeping winter levels since they appeared when a player was using something like a beehive armor --177.188.214.94 17:10, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Hmm good point. I think it might be a summon/enchantment, as I noticed that some enchantment points have a "Coming Soon" slot. Bee Nest Armor would be cool to have a Bee Hive Armor unique variant. Or maybe there will be a new artifact called "Pollenated Flower" or "Glistering Honey" (I'm not good at thinking of good artifact names). Creeping Winter (talk) 20:45, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
Yea I don't think its going to be truly part Of Creeping Winter so I wouldn't put it on its wiki page or mob section but is still an upcoming mob so I say put it in the summons section. James Haydon (talk) 20:49, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
Agree I don't think they will be part of Creeping Winter either, they will probably be a part of the update though. I'm so excited for the Daily Trials and the massiveness of this update that I am soon gonna return to dungeons (I beat the game on Apocalypse mode. They don't give rewards for beating the game ): ) Also, I saw on the Dungeons twitter a nice photo of three players being what I call "Horded and Swarmed" by Icy Creepers (finally an official image of them!) and two of the players had some black-colored armor with red robe detailing at the bottom, maybe like a unique Curious Armor? The other player had what looked like something similar to a non-unique variant of that "Bee Nest Armor". Maybe "Beehive Armor"? Creeping Winter (talk) 02:07, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Enchanted mobs

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
It has been decided that they are not minibosses, because they don't have a health bar and they spawn in groups. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

I think enchanted mobs should be classified as mini-bosses, even though they don't have a real boss bar, they have their name displayed on top of the screen, along with their enchantments.

Oppose Yea i get what you are getting at but they don't have an actual health bar with there name on it on the top of the screen. Also, if they were a true mini-boss, they would only spawn in groups of one but they spawn in groups of up to four instead. Passive mobs can also spawn enchanted meaning that they are not all hostile and therefore should probably be classed as their own type of mob. Anyways this is just my opinion on the situation. James Haydon (talk) 18:14, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

Music Soundtracks

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
Discussion should have been had on a personal talk page, also the Illusioner does not have its own soundtrack, it uses the Evoker's music instead. James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Can somebody send me a link to all of the Miniboss Music Soundtracks? I'm especially looking for a Redstone Golem one because I can't hear any music for it. But for some reason level music pauses when a Redstone Golem appears as if it does have a music soundtrack. Am I like deaf or something or is its music soundtrack just really hard to hear? Creeping Winter (talk) 02:17, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Oof, it's doing the same for me. I can't find a link either. Jungle Awakens (talk) 02:18, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
The Redstone Golem actually uses the Redstone Monstrosity's boss fight music. It would always play whenever I encountered one at Obsidian Pinnacle. James Haydon (talk) 03:04, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
Oh and by the way, here are all the miniboss soundtracks: Enderman:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwzluqcCeko&list=OLAK5uy_kUr-u57F0OKGuQPBh3b5HqV__nI71LNFc&index=50 Evoker:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDISXU_2ZdI&list=OLAK5uy_kUr-u57F0OKGuQPBh3b5HqV__nI71LNFc&index=51 Skeleton Horseman:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsOWi_3RFu4&list=OLAK5uy_kUr-u57F0OKGuQPBh3b5HqV__nI71LNFc&index=52 Redstone Golem:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7caTM60uumo&list=OLAK5uy_kUr-u57F0OKGuQPBh3b5HqV__nI71LNFc&index=38 James Haydon (talk) 03:09, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
Which one's your favorite? The Evoker Music is kinda weird, the Enderman Music is exciting, the Redstone Golem Music (which sounds new to me btw) is scary, and the Skeleton Horseman Music is by far the best in my opinion. I wonder what Illusionist Music will be like? Creeping Winter (talk) 15:10, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Yeah Skeleton Horseman is pretty epic. BTW, should I add links to the music on the miniboss pages? Jungle Awakens (talk) 15:11, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Yeah. I'm gonna change the Skeleton Horseman music to my Alarm Clock music (lol). Creeping Winter (talk) 15:17, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Someone already added music links to some of the mini-boss [pages already, i cant tell who it was because it was an unregistered user. James Haydon (talk) 17:18, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Unregistered? I swear I added them. Jungle Awakens (talk) 18:14, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Still technically unregistered because he has an ip instead of an actual username. James Haydon (talk) 18:55, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Oh. :/ I am not good with tech much. Jungle Awakens (talk) 00:18, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
Is there a link to an Illusionist Music Soundtrack? Creeping Winter (talk) 23:22, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
I don't think there is one yet, at least one on YouTube.James Haydon (talk) 23:41, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
Oh nvm I found it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0. James Haydon (talk) 00:15, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
Oof..... Creeping Winter (talk) 20:33, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
Yea it sounds really good. James Haydon (talk) 23:00, 28 August 2020 (UTC)

Icologer

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section.
It have now been renamed to "Iceologer". James Haydon (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Chillagers need fully renamed to Iceologer on this wiki, similar to what happened with the Leaper. The Leaper is now called the Leapleaf on this wiki. And the Chillager was named "Icologer" by Mojang, and the same happened with the Leaper, which Mojang named "Leapleaf". Creeping Winter (talk) 13:07, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Hmm yeah. Good point. Jungle Awakens (talk) 13:16, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
I think Illusionists should also get the same treatment, only problem is that the entity link for MCD:Illusioner does not work unlike MCD:Illusionist. James Haydon (talk) 02:57, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
