This template uses Module:Convert base, a script written in Lua.

This is a simple to use tool for dynamically converting hexadecimal values to decimal values.

In full the template code is as follows:

But it is much easier to use it through the redirect hex-dec which allows it to be written out as:

{{Hex-dec|0x1234}}

Both of which will output 4660.
