This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Boss Update (Bedrock Edition 0.16.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Friendly Update (Bedrock Edition 0.15.x releases).

  • Version exclusiveSpawns 3-4 Wither Skeletons when health drops to 50%.
    • Does not spawn on Easy difficulty.
  • Version exclusive has new animations when crafting and being killed.
  • Version exclusive new sounds.
