The recipe book, simply known as recipes in Minecraft: Story Mode (season one), is a mechanic that shows crafting recipes while the crafting table is in use.

The book looks like an ordinary written book with the the crafting layout in the middle and the title of the recipe above it. Arrows at the sides of the book can be used to toggle the recipes.
