Summary[]

An Overworld-like custom dimension generated using the minecraft:floating_islands noise settings and with plains as the sole biome. The height parameters (min_y, height, logical_height) for the custom dimension's type are borrowed from settings of the End and set to 0, 256, and 256, respectively, while the rest of the settings are identical to the Overworld. Similar to a Buffet world with the Floating Islands setting removed in Java Edition 1.18, such terrain bears a superficial resemblance to the scrapped sky dimension.

As the dimension generates a regular Overworld biome, it features structures common to the Overworld, regardless of whether their generation is suited for a floating island terrain or not. Obscured by a cloud in the image's top right section is a ruined portal, whereas below the center, behind fog and some of the terrain, is the plank bridge of a floating mineshaft.
