This template can be used to warn a user for not specifying a license on an image they uploaded. This notice can be used on a user's talk page by using the following wiki syntax: {{subst:Uw-license|file name|suggested license name|text}}. All three parameters are optional but recommended
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:uw-license|parameters}}. {{uwl}} is a shortcut, and remember to substitute with {{subst:uwl|parameters}}. If not substituted, the page will get added to Category:Pages with templates requiring substitution..
Note also that the template will also add your signature, when used, if you not want to add signature, simply set the sig parameter to empty value or to other signature tildes.
