Summary[]

Screenshot taken after 'unfixing' the bug causing the Far Lands. I used Night Vision and Water Breathing to improve visibility. Coordinates must have been approximately 12550650, 140, -280. The seed was 4917937753784840971.

If you generate a world with this seed in beta 1.7.3 and go to the same coordinates (well, a bit closer because there's no render distance of 32 chunks), you can recognize the same shapes. There's no mesa, it ends at y=128, and performance is downright horrible, but it's obvious the core of the generation hasn't changed.
